Recruitment: Video Editor, Burundi

The ICGLR was created in response to the recognition that political instability and conflicts in Central Africa have a considerable regional dimension and require a concerted effort to promote sustainable peace and development. With 12 Member States, it isthe only platform regionally that has a strong political mandate, continued support, and technical expertise to work on illicit trade of the minerals sector. About the Peace and Security in the Great Lakes Region Project
The Peace and Security in the Great Lakes Region project aims to improve mineral governance in the region while advancing security, stability, and development. The project builds the capacity of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) and its Member States to address illegal mineral flows and harness their potential as drivers for economic and social development, as well as stability and security. 3. Objective and Scope of Work
IMPACT is seeking to hire a video editor to create three (3) videos, each three minutes in length maximum. The videos will be distributed and shown across social media channels of IMPACT and the ICGLR.
The objective of the videos is to demonstrate the implementation of the Regional Certification Mechanism, challenges, and results across 3 countries: Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Uganda. Footage will be provided including an interview (approx 10 minutes each) from each country and B-roll.
The video should be: produced in the original language of the interviewee from that country (there are 2 in French, 1 in English), with subtitles in the second language.
4. Deliverables
3 edited videos with subtitles, maximum 3 minutes in length – 1080p resolution, Mov or Mp4 files.
5. Timeline
Final files need to be delivered by November 1, 2025.
6. Proposal Submission:
The consultant or company must have experience in video editing various types of footage, producing high-quality finished videos. Experience working with advocacy or international organization is preferred. Must be able to edit English and French interviews and provide subtitles in the mentioned languages.
